Pecan Contracts
Millican Pecan Company is offering Pecan Price Contracts for customers who need a steady supply at a fixed price.
This is a tool that is used by "one case a week" customers to "one pallet a week" customers. The variability of
the price of the 2010 crop year was a perfect example of how pecan contracts help end users. By having a supply
of pecans on hand for customers to use throughtout the year, we are able to help customers meet their demands
without shifts in the spot price. Millican Pecan's contracts start after the Christmas rush when crop and
inventory is accessed. The prices are adjusted for storage per month and gives the customer the option on
delivery time (ie all at once or perodically through the year). Payment is due when pecans are shipped.

Color / Grade (include Fancy, Choice and Standard)
Fancy - The highest grade of pecans. Retail users perfer this grade of pecan for their gift packs. It brings a premium in the market.
Choice - A good pecan for cooking and baking. Roasters and Toasters prefer this type of pecan for coating and covering. Typically, these pecans run lower than fancy.
Standard - Millican Pecan rarely has this grade of pecans. They are best suited of oil roasting.
